What does a beautiful birth look like?
A beautiful birth looks like yours. Regardless of the method, a beautiful birth is one where you made the best decisions for you and your baby.
YOUR BIRTH WAS BEAUTIFUL. HER BIRTH WAS BEAUTIFUL. ALL BIRTHS ARE BEAUTIFUL.
This can be easily forgotten. Families are judged unfairly for their birth choices and often, birthing people blame themselves when things don't go according to plan. As a doula, I want to be a part of the movement that empowers pregnant people and their families. Realizing that their births, whether a cesarean or vaginal, medicated or not, are beautiful and unique.
To that end, this page is YOURS! I want it to be a soft place to land when you need encouragement, support, solidarity and love. Here, you'll find pictures of all types of births - hospital, birth center, home birth, water birth, medicated or un-medicated - every kind of birth you can think of. You'll find pregnancy, birth, and postpartum stories written by people just like you. It is my most sincere hope that this page will feature births of all types so that together we can work to remove the judgment that women and families face for their birth choices.

Indicate whether you would like your name or any other attribution included with your submission, or if you would like to remain anonymous.
